Craig has been practicing and teaching Taoist and Buddhist meditation, as well as leading classes on the Tao Te Ching, Qigong and Tai Chi, for the past 36 years.

In 1988, he describes coming across the Tao Te Ching, “the most important book” he ever read and maintains that it contains “everything you will ever need to know about living your life in the effortless flow of the Present Moment.”

In addition to being an interfaith Minister, he was ordained into Buddhism by the Dalai Lama in 1997. He is also the author of The Buddha’s Dog and Living in the Flow: Reminders for a Supremely Happy Life. Craig’s mission is to serve the Tao by serving others in their healing and awakening, and finding their own authentic path back home to the present moment, where happiness and peace await as surely as the breath we are taking right now.

Craig’s role on the Spiritual Ministry Team is to speak at one Sunday service per month, focusing on Eastern teachings and weaving those teachings into the perennial philosophy at the heart of all religions.
