Kids Yoga

May 29, 2022 @ 10:15 am - 10:45 am

Yoga is not just for adults! In fact, it can give children very important life skills that can help them succeed in the world. Nurture your kids with Yoga.

The practice of Yoga is a powerful spiritual tool, and Unity of Tustin along with certified yoga instructor, Lisa Nakhjiri, are creating space for kids 5+ and teens to learn and experience this sacred practice.

BENEFITS OF YOGA FOR KIDS & TEENS
https://tinyurl.com/yaxpuoat

“Center your body and mind, stretch the possibilities.”

WHAT TO EXPECT
30 minutes of yoga poses and breathing exercises in a kid-appropriate setting.

This week Lisa will be sharing a breathing technique with our young Yogi’s that they can use anytime at school, home or elsewhere to bring focus, centeredness and calming energy.

We will be connecting the breath to fun postures and movements, bringing more strength, flexibility, balance and awareness to our entire being.

Next week we will dive into self love with affirmations, and expanding the heart space through breath and movement – more info on that next week

On Sundays, our campus and classrooms are active with spiritual explorers of all ages learning Truth principles, building friendships, and having fun! We recognize the youth of today – the Alpha Generation or iGeneration – as the promise and potential for a more compassionate, Self-Realized, liberated world for one and all. Our Youth and Family Life program aims to empower youth to be advocates for the true, right and good they believe in.
