“You are to take care of the children. This is your work.” – Myrtle Fillmore, Co-founder
Unity of Tustin offers a dynamic spiritual educational program for youth and children. We promote key values such as compassion, love, gratitude, service, diversity and the applications of truth principles.
Through the use of art, music, reading, meditation, prayer and other activities, our children and youth learn the basic teachings of Unity. We foster an atmosphere that encourages an understanding of God along with self understanding.
We honor your child and youth, supporting and encouraging their spiritual journey. We teach the five Basic Unity Principles along with Unity Created Curriculum. Basic Unity Principles Re-Worded for children:
God is absolute good, everywhere present.
I am naturally good because the spark of the divine is within me.
I create my experiences by what I choose to think and what I choose to believe. Everything begins in thought.
Through affirmative prayer and meditation, I connect with God and bring out the good in my life.
Knowing and understanding the laws of life are not enough. I must also live the truth by my activities. I make a difference.

As a mother of a child in the YFM program at Unity of Tustin, I share with unwavering conviction that having my son Afton attend Sunday school in the Unitots class is life enriching on so many levels. I love seeing him flourish emotionally, spiritually and socially in this supportive, caring and fun environment. Prior to Unitots, Afton had not attended any early learning school groups. The positive experiences he has with Unity’s heart-centered teachers ignites a confidence and excitement in him. Afton’s learning principles that help him as he now transitions into pre-school, which he absolutely loves! As his pre-school teacher tells me, he “lights” up the class with his enthusiasm and care towards others. It really doesn’t get much better than that! Thank you to all the YFM teachers for contributing towards Afton’s growth. It takes a village, and we’re sure glad you’re ours’!
